ManufacturingAssist grounds on a voice-enabled digital assistant to accelerate and enhance on-the-job training for workers. The assistant provides straightforward work instructions and responds to questions with multi-media learning contents, such as images and videos. It actively engages workers with small competency tests to support their learning progress. Supervisors use Coala’s dedicated content editor to manage the learning materials and track learning success. ManufacturingAssist runs on a server and workers can access it via the Coala Android App.

DocAssist runs locally on your computer and supports various language models to cover your specific needs. If you choose to run DocAssist in confidential-mode, the assistant processes all documents and conversations on your computer.

How do you support customers with GDPR and AI law obligations?
We outline the necessary legal information for data protection and AI-system risk assessments with the customer. We do not provide legal consultation ourselves.
What are the steps involved in getting a custom assistant for the industry?
We design and realize digital assisted processes for the industry in four steps:
- Pre-Study. Our team and the customer identify and assess the requirements, jointly design the improved work process, and realize rapid prototypes to assess the solution’s potential effectiveness. This step typically takes five days and concludes with a cost-benefit assessment, roadmap for the realization, and an implementation risk assessment.
- Planning. Our team details the implementation roadmap, coordinates it with the customer’s domain experts, as well as the worker’s council. This step typically takes between two and four weeks and concludes with the full implementation plan.
- Implementation. Our team builds the solution using state of the art conversational technology. We also prepare the training materials and a training program for the users to ensure swift adoption of the improved work process. This step typically takes between four and ten weeks and ends with the approval of the final solution by the customer.
- Maintenance. Our team supports the customer with long-term solution maintenance and continuous improvement. We are available to answer questions emerging after the introduction. The duration of this step depends on our service agreements with the customer.
